Here it is. Felt's Nine FRD is the machine to crush XC and endurance rides and races. This 29er frame boasts space age, ultra-advanced FRD UHC Ultimate + TeXtreme high-modulus carbon for the perfect blend of supreme stiffness, confident handling, and astoundingly low weight. A tapered head tube, threaded bottom bracket, and 142x12mm thru-axle ensure a dialed ride on the fire road lead out, into the sprint before the singletrack, up the big climb, and through the faster, more technical downhill line. From the local race circuit to the World Cup, this is it, the chassis for XC and endurance dominance.
Felt's MMC (Modular Monocoque Construction) method is an advanced carbon manufacturing process that allows Felt to mold individual sections of a frame (see image above) prior to assembly. This allows each frame section to be optimized for its individual requirements before being fused together. The result is a frame with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined appearance.
